Edu-c8 Inspired Training provides high-quality specialist person-centred mental health and wellbeing training. Our passion is to promote and raise mental health awareness in the workplace.
Dawn Miller Donkin established Edu-c8 Inspired Training to make a positive difference to people’s lives though training and education. Dawn has 20 years experience of working in health and social care sector along side mental health care sector. This invaluable knowledge reflects the quality of Edu-c8’s training courses
Dawn has built a team of like-minded qualified trainers, who have a wealth of knowledge and are just as enthusiastic about the sectors they work and teach in. Alongside Edu-c8 specialist team of health and social care trainers we can provide mental health working place training.

Edu-c8 Training Director Dawn Miller Donkin
Dawn is an experienced trainer and director of Edu-c8 Inspired Training. Dawn is committed to providing quality training and workshops for employers, managers and employees. The training will inspire organisations and individuals to enhance the wellbeing and quality of life of people who use their services within a variety of sectors including: Health and social care, local authorities, housing associations, charities, private and commercial organisations.
Dawn worked in the health and social care sector for over 20 years, predominantly in residential care homes and supported living services for adults with learning disabilities and mental illness. For many years Dawn was a registered home manager.
Since leaving the health and social care sector Dawn has worked with a national training provider. This enabled her to share a wealth of experience and knowledge developing and delivering courses.
Dawn established edu-c8 in 2017. Through personal experience and working with people with a dual diagnosis of Learning disabilities and Mental illness Dawn has many specialists subjects, including mental health awareness, learning disability awareness, autism awareness, epilepsy, Prader-Willi-syndrome and behaviours that challenge.
Dawn is passionate about raising awareness about mental health and wellbeing and to help reduce the stigma and discrimination around it in the workplace and in our society. Dawn is very proud to be part of the MHFA community and becoming an approved Adult MHFA instructor.

Our Health and Social Care Training
In House Group Training
We offer a wide range of courses aimed at groups up to 16 people, courses range from half day (3hrs) and full day (6hrs). Two half day courses can be combined to run as a full day if required.
We are flexible and can provide training at weekends and evenings to suit customer’s needs.
Bespoke Courses
Designing bespoke training tailored to you is at the centre of our business.
We will listen to you and get to the heart of what’s happening in your business, having agreed the priority areas to be tackled with you, we’ll design a training programme to address them.
Open Courses
As requested by our clients. We now offer a range of open course. This can be cost effective with specialists and managerial training.
