Mental Capacity Act Awareness

This Mental Capacity Act Awareness course is intended to support learners to become familiar with the requirements and gain an understanding on the mental capacity act. It provides a platform for knowledge and has been developed for learners that have previously attended a mental capacity act course before.

This course is aimed at Front line staff, managers and team leaders that provide care and support to people who live in residential homes, supported living services, hospitals, community based settings, Educational settings, Day care services and individuals supported in their own homes.

Course Duration

This Mental Capacity Act Awareness training Course is a half day (3hrs)


Certificate of attendance will be issued to all learners that have demonstrated that learning has taken place.


The group course can be delivered at locations to suit the client with a maximum number of  16 delegates.
